Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has hinted at vacating the music scene to become a gym instructor.
Shatta Wale who happens to be one of the frontrunners in Ghanaians dancehall was said to have created a scene during the IGP’s meeting with the creative arts industry after he was confronted by a policeman on using his phone at the auditorium.
This comes shortly after he was reportedly arrested by the police for pulling a stunt about a shooting incident at East Legon.
He was trialed and remanded into police custody for one week and was granted bail of GHc100,000.
Well, after the meeting with the IGP, Shatta Wale stated that celebrities would be allowed to live artistic lives without any stigmatization.
According to him, he is being described as a rascal by many due to his sense of fashion and hairstyle.
He stated that musicians have a lot of positive works under their names, thus their appearance should not depict their character to Ghanaians.
In a recent post, he made on his Facebook page, Shatta Wale has revealed that he will be vacating the music game for his colleagues to embark on a new career as a gym instructor.
