Following nearly 4 hours of rain, elements of Accra and different city centres within the Larger Accra Area together with Kaneshie and Tema have been flooded.
Additionally some roads in Kasoa within the Central Area have been obstructed following the rains that started at daybreak, Saturday morning.
This comes after the Ghana Meteorological Company earlier warned of “pockets of rain over Southern Ghana.”
“Breaks of sunshine can be skilled later. Afternoon to night rains is anticipated over elements of the center and northern sectors,” the Company added.
Already, some Ghanaians have taken to Twitter to share movies of flooded areas after the rain;
