Controversial dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has remained unremorseful about his submissions that the Ghanaian music industry has received less support from their Nigerian counterparts.
Shatta Wale earlier went after the Nigerian music industry especially its top-tier musicians over the lack of support they have denied Ghanaian musicians despite the love and support they have gained from Ghana with their music.
Shatta Wale who sounded agitated while performing at the maiden edition of his #FreedomWave stated that due to the lack of support Ghanaian musicians have gained from Nigerians, he needs not to co-headline a show with them in order to sell out his show.
His rants meted a lot of mixed reactions on social media with some Nigerian industry players refuting his controversial claims while others affirm his claims by calling on Nigerians to also repay the support and love they have received from Ghana.
Well, it is expected of everyone that Shatta Wale might come out with a public apology for his approach in addressing the critical issue. To many, his approach where he rained insults on Nigerians was very wrong and maybe, he should be remorseful for that.
However, Shatta Wale has reaffirmed his claims, saying he will never be afraid to speak the truth and as such, he will say the truth as it is irrespective of what others may say and who opposes.
Taking to his Twitter, he wrote; Am not scared to speak the truth so I say it Raww as it is … If you like insult me ,my mama,my papa,my fans …still I will say it hard in your face …. Nobody bigger than God in my world. You are just a tiny little being thinking you control your life …You lieeeeee..#Godfirst
